 Management Accountant

Full Time | Permanent | Magherafelt

Combined Facilities Management Ltd. provides tailor-made services to a wide range of clients which enable the effective and seamless day-to-day running of property assets and infrastructure. With a long established and proven history in the delivery of total facilities management encompassing all trades reactive and planned preventative maintenance.

As a key part of the finance team delivering month end report pack and supporting reconciliations. The position will involve working with all departments within the company, promoting financial and driving continuous improvements and efficiencies.
A role model for Combined Facilities Management Ltd, supporting the culture, developing the knowledge and skills of others and promoting an ethos of continuous improvement throughout the finance function of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Producing meaningful, accurate monthly management accounts
  • Control account reconciliations including bank, debtors, creditors, pension etc.
  • Preparation and submission of UK and ROI VAT returns
  • Valuation of stock and work in progress/accrued income
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Variance analysis and reporting
  • Internal controls, process documentation/flow charts
  • Annual budgeting, planning and forecasting
  • Manage capital expenditure
  • Cashflow projections
  • Reviewing accounting processes/practices making improvements where applicable

The successful candidate must meet the following Essential Criteria:
 
  • Professionally qualified / part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar accounting role
  • Strong IT skills including a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Extensive knowledge of business systems, process and reporting
  • Strong project management and excellent communication skills, with ability to lead, motivate and inspire excellent performance from colleagues
  • A proactive and flexible working approach with the ability to adapt to changing situations

Desirable Criteria:
 
  • Good working knowledge of Sage Accounts & Payroll
Working hours are advertised as full time, however, reduced hours would be considered for the right candidate, if compatible with business needs.
