Some of the CFM team recently attended the CEF Construction Excellence Awards Ceremony at the Culloden Estate, Hollywood, and were delighted to pick up the ‘Environmental Sustainability Award.’

Now in their 19th year, the Construction Excellence Awards saw a record number of 120+ entries this year across 14 categories.

This prestigious award followed an intensive shortlisting process which included site based interview, with CFM being shortlisted against 3 other finalists.

CFM were recognised for our continued investment and commitment to our sustainable building agenda. Aspects of which have include significant investment in our infrastructure across three of our sites with specific focus on reducing energy usage and improving our footprint of the buildings we occupy.

Together with our green fleet, lean scheduling, paperless systems, and reduce, reuse upcycling scheme, we have vastly reduced our environmental impact. This is supported by our internal Environmental KPI suite which ensures all staff are contributing to our objectives and success.

Gary Tipping, SHEQ Compliance Officer: “This award recognises organisations who best demonstrate environmental considerations and best practice.  Our team at CFM work extremely hard to ensure all environmental KPI’s are not only met but exceeded by having a real drive for continuous improvement.”
