Newtownhamilton Fire Station

CFM delivered the refurbishment works at Newtownhamilton Fire Station as a project under the Term Service Contract for Building Maintenance, Planned Preventative Maintenance and Minor Building Works.

The station was originally built in 1952 and despite minor updates over the years required a much needed renovation to all key internal areas including the Recreation Room, WC & Shower Rooms, Appliance Room, Stores, Kitchen and Offices. These included internal demolition works, strip-out of old fixtures and fittings, minor reconfiguration of internal layouts, fit out to new WC and Wash Rooms, laying new flooring, decorating, installing new lockers, fitting new fire doors and bespoke items such as notice boards and screens.

Associated M&E works involved fitting new lighting and installing extract systems and a new combi boiler.
Externally works included repairs to the roof, guttering and brickwork, the application of bespoke ‘Weather shield’ systems to all masonry walls and laying of new concrete surfacing to storage areas.
